Deliberately designing for Inclusion is easy to say and often hard to put into practice, but it is exactly this, a deliberate practice. Ask the people involved how they feel and actively listen to their answer. Look at how the system, processes and culture can be adapted to accommodate a more inclusive way of thinking, working and being. This also calls for a different type of leadership, particularly as we move into a more interconnected and hybrid workplace. We must take this opportunity to challenge the status quo, understand our own bias and the bias in the system, to rethink the future workplace.
